Samantha is the former Corporate Counsel and Company Secretary of Olam (Australia and New Zealand), a leading global agribusiness operating across 65 countries and listed on the SGX. Olam Australia operates an integrated supply chain for five key products: almonds, cotton, pulses, grains and dairy, with an annual turnover of A$2.5 billion. Samantha was the sole in-house lawyer responsible for all aspects of Olam’s legal and compliance requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
She draws on experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial areas such as mergers and acquisitions, project management, workplace law, environmental law, maritime and trade disputes / arbitration, financing and regulatory, leasing, contracts, property and corporate governance.
Samantha is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland (2001) and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Law with Honours and Bachelor of Arts, Media and Communications with Honours from Griffith University, Queensland.
